In celebration of Nonesuch Records' 60th anniversary, the label has partnered with photographer Michael Wilson—who has exquisitely captured dozens of Nonesuch artists over the past quarter-century—to produce Michael Wilson / 25 Years: A Nonesuch Collection, an extremely limited quantity of 100 box sets containing newly created prints from his Nonesuch archive, out now. You can take a quick look inside here. Designed by the Grammy-winning team at SMOG Design, each box comprises twenty 12" x 12" prints, numbered and signed by the photographer. Artists featured are Allen Toussaint, Ambrose Akinmusire, Audra McDonald, Bill Frisell, The Black Keys, Brad Mehldau, David Byrne, Dr. John, Emmylou Harris, Frederic Rzewski, Jeremy Denk, Kronos Quartet, Lorraine Hunt Lieberson, Manuel Galbán and Ry Cooder, Philip Glass, Randy Newman, Rhiannon Giddens, Stephin Merritt and Lemony Snicket, Steve Reich, and Timo Andres, who wrote a note for the box.

Stars in the House, the live-streamed series led by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley to benefit The Actors Fund, hosted the stars of the original 2005 Broadway production of Adam Guettel's The Light in the Piazza on Friday, and a 20th anniversary celebration of the 2001 Actors Fund benefit concert performance of Dreamgirls, of which Rudetsky was the musical director, on Saturday. Audra McDonald was a guest on The Late Late Show with James Corden on CBS. She joined Corden and Dan Stevens for a few very special performances of inappropriate musicals. "Many of Broadway's biggest hit musicals have been based on movies," says Corden. "But there are so many more great movie possibilities. The Los Angeles Philharmonic has announced its 2018–19 concert season—its centennial season—and among the artists joining the orchestra to perform this season at Walt Disney Concert Hall are John Adams and Audra McDonald. The LA Phil will also give the world premiere of new works by Adams, Steve Reich, and Louis Andriessen.

Audra McDonald helps bring Disney's Beauty and the Beast to life in the live-action adaptation of the classic film, which opens in theaters around the world today. She joins Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast, and a cast of household objects as the gregarious singing Garderobe. "To hear McDonald's glorious voice on the big screen is just one of this film's many pleasures," says Deadline. Elle says: "She's the first voice we hear and one of the last, and if you've ever heard her sing, you know that's a wonderful thing."

Audra McDonald will finally bring her Tony Award–winning portrayal of Billie Holiday in Lanie Robertson's Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill to London's West End with a fourteen-week run at Wyndham's Theatre starting June 17, 2017. The performances were postponed due to the happy arrival of McDonald's newborn daughter last year. Written by Robertson and directed by Lonny Price, the musical play opened on Broadway in 2014 to great acclaim, earning McDonald a record sixth Tony Award, an Outer Circle Critics Award, and a Drama Desk Award.
